Amit have been a business developer at various companies including start-ups and small to mid-sized organizations. He has also been a key contributor in the corporate environment being an 'intrapreneur,' applying the same entrepreneurial concepts to make a significant impact. His experience includes Sales and Marketing Management, Marketing Strategy, Business Development, Business Planning, and Project Management. He has worked as a project manager and a supervisor in a variety of capacities turning limited resources into the utmost results. He completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola Marymount University in Information Systems & Management. He also completed his MBA from Loyola Marymount University with a double emphasis in Entrepreneurial Organizations and Marketing Management. Amit was recognized in 2005 as the Entrepreneurial Graduate Student of the Year. He is a volunteer SCORE Counselor based out of the Glendale office helping entrepreneurs at all stages. Amit is currently working with the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) in the Economic Workforce and Development creating the Green Business Certification Program in partnership with the Los Angeles. Amit is also a course instructor for UCLA Extension teaching in the Global Sustainability Certificate program.
I am 100% committed to a sustainable future through sustainable business and the triple bottom line. I am looking to enter into the green space helping a start up or small business leveraging what I have learned as a sustainable business professional and a management consultant. To show my commitment I have attained my LEED AP NC 2.2.
